The Cottage

A destiny so obscure
Far- Flung
Amidst the running horses and weeping forests
There was one cottage
Blurred and broken by the moonlight
The twinkles pulled me
The keys were pressed upon by themselves
Every fiber of that cottage had life. Tainted.
A piece of wreck humbled by nature
Was it possessed? By the demons?
Was it inhabited? By the deadmen?
Or was it just an inconspicuous house?
They spoke and shivered and hesitated
The bricks, yes
So I entered. Solicitous.
To give them and stop the clamor
Of the cottage and those that embodied her
Sins, Washed with sins and bathed with sins
Hammering the walls, clearing the dirt out
Coloring the delusive bricks
And did it all
There was no one there
No demons, no deadmen,
Neither witches nor wizards
But the cottage shone bright now
Bouncy and Breezy in the moonlight
Paused the horses
Calmed the forests
Peace ushered
Dragged the cats and the cows
And the squirrels and the birds
As they avow
Not a cottage now
A house.
A home.
A world.

"A vivid destiny".
